Click on the category below that most suits your needs for the devZone:
- Enterprise Developer - Someone who develops applications for the Enterprise market, such as Sales Performance Management, Asset Management, Demographics, or Statistical Reporting. You might be developing a desktop application, web application, a mobile application, or some mix of these three.
- Web Application Developer - You are here to develop a web application that uses a geospatial API. By this we mean you need maps, routes, geocodes, and other mapcentric functionality within your website application.
- Mobile Developer - You came here to explore developing an application for a wireless device. By mobile we usually refer to any device that receives a majority of it's map data and content from a remote source for use locally on a device.
- Personal Navigation Developer - You want to develop a device to aid in personal navigation. What separates this from a Mobile Developer is that you need to develop a navigation centric application and your target device has the capacity to hold a large amount of map data local on the device.
- JavaScript Developer - The JavaScript Developer finally matures into a respected profession, and we are ready for you. If you made it this far down the list, your project might exist in the domain of one of the above choices, but as far as you are concerned, you just need to know how to integrate maps into a JavaScript application. If you can do that, you'll be happy. This is the choice for you.
- Web Services Developer - Behind
every great rich web application is some sort of web services back end. A Web Services Developer is someone tasked with getting geospatial information into an application, and for various reasons you need something more complex than a JavaScript API.
- Everyone Else - Not everyone fits into one of the above categories. Don't be shy, it's okay to click here. This category has something in it for just about anyone who doesn't know where else to start.
